We are front-end agnostic. We believe in the idea of “content-as-a-service”. Ideally, that means using whatever presentation tier technology most appropriately addresses the business requirements within the constraints of time and budget. In practice, scripting languages and frameworks (PHP, Drupal, Python, Django) have worked well when sitting on top of a repository like Alfresco, but many clients prefer Java and frameworks like Spring or full-blown portal servers like Liferay or JBoss Portal.
