Metaversant is a professional services firm focused on helping clients get the most out of their digital assets, whether those assets are office documents, web content, rich media (images, audio, video), legal records, or other types of unstructured and semi-structured data.
We're passionate about content technology, but it's just as important to us to focus on the human component of our solutions. No matter what kind of content it is that a Metaversant-built solution is managing, it is typically provided and ultimately consumed by people and may be touched by multiple sets of hands between creation and publication. We believe that a content-centric solution, no matter how elegant it may be under the hood, will never be successful if it is not a pleasure to work with.
Metaversant solutions are built on open standards, agile frameworks, and rich content repositories. These types of solutions aren't traditional web applications with relational databases. Unstructured repositories and solutions that integrate with them require unique skills and perspectives. We've been building such solutions for over 15 years.
One of our favorite content technologies to work with is Alfresco. Alfresco is a commercial open source Enterprise Content Management platform created by one of the co-founders of Documentum and a talented set of engineers from Documentum and other well-known commercial content management vendors like Interwoven and Vignette. Metaversant consultants have implemented Alfresco for a variety of well-known clients across many different industries including broadcast media, film, video game, software, online travel, and consumer electronics.
